João Pires Ribeiro, CEGIST member, publicly defended (and was approved with Distinction) his PhD thesis: “Quantitative tools to aid decision-making towards Resilient Supply Chain”, a research developed under the scientific guidance of Ana Paula Póvoa, in the PhD Program in Engineering and Management at the Department of Engineering and Management (DEG).

The Jury of the public defense was chaired by Mónica Oliveira with the valuable contribution of Maria Sameiro Carvalho from Universidade do Minho, Pedro Amorim from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and Susana Relvas.
