Abstract
Innovation should by design have a strategic purpose in order to make a difference to society. The strategic purpose can have an associated positive or negative connotation depending on its impact and usefulness. The aim of this chapter is to understand how strategic innovation can be utilised for entrepreneurial purposes thereby adding to the existing literature on strategic innovation but embedding an entrepreneurship perspective in a more direct way.
