Abstract
To be successful, institutions need motivated employees to achieve their goals, especially in contexts of economic crisis. As such, an effective leader is fundamental to mobilize and influence people. Executive leadership is an essential component of social institutions (SIs)’ success. This study is based on a systematic literature review, with the main objective of analyzing how leadership styles affect intellectual capital (IC) in SIs. To this end, 80 articles from the Web of Science (WoS) were analyzed using the VOSviewer software.
