Summary
The success of companies and the efficiency of distribution logistics depend on the level of cooperation between participants, since the constant and reliable flow of information is a determining factor in managing the distribution process and essential for meeting the requirements of end customers. In this presentation, we will explore what has been highlighted in the scope of distribution logistics and more specifically, aspects focused on the last mile.
Speaker's bio
Elisete Zagheni has a PhD in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), a Master's degree in Administration from the Federal University of Santa Catarina and a Bachelor's degree in Administration from the University of Vale do Itajaí (1999). She is currently professor and Associate Dean at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Joinville Technological Center, in the Department of Mobility Engineering. Elisete has experience in the area of Administration, Transport and Logistics, working mainly on business logistics, distribution channels, planning and operation of transport systems, strategic planning and entrepreneurship. She is a member of the Research Group on Transport Operations and Systems and the Management and Projects Group.
