A new PHSSR study, coordinated by CEGIST member Mónica Oliveira in collaboration with Aida Isabel Tavares (ISEG), analyzes the sustainability and resilience of the Portuguese Health System.
The study aims to "identify weaknesses, opportunities and risks for the sustainability and resilience of the Portuguese health system, also integrating policy recommendations, generated and discussed by a large group of experts from different areas related to health" and is currently active in more than 20 countries, with a framework developed by the London School of Economics to analyze the health system in seven domains: Financing, Governance, Human Resources, Medicines and technology, Service Delivery, Population health and Environmental Sustainability.
