Professor Ana Carvalho and Marta Brazão (project manager at Circular Economy Portugal) published an opinion article in Fleet Magazine (issue June 2022). The article is focused on Circular Economy in the Automotive Industry, reflecting on it's impact.
"In order to minimize the automobile impact and enhance the implementation of Circular Economy, it is necessary to consider the use of energy, throughout the entire life cycle, in an efficient and renewable way, using materials in order to reduce waste; during the lifetime of the vehicle its use must be optimized to ensure resource efficiency and vehicle utilization rates must be optimized considering resilience requirements."
