Ana Vilar Bravo holds a degree in Languages, Literatures and Cultures, and a postgraduate qualification in Culture and Communication, both from the Faculty of Arts, University of Lisbon. She is a specialist in Science and Technology Management within the Research and Development Resources Coordination category. With over a decade of experience in managing research and development resources, she has successfully coordinated R&D units and projects exceeding €4 million, funded through a range of national and international programmes. In addition to her career in scientific management, Ana has made significant contributions to urban art and cultural initiatives. She served as Curator of the inaugural 2016 edition of MURO – Lisbon Urban Art Festival, following an invitation from GAU – Galeria de Arte Urbana of the CML – Câmara Municipal de Lisboa. She is also the author and project lead of LumiARTE [urbana], a cultural initiative developed as part of her Master’s studies and hosted by the Junta de Freguesia do Lumiar. Ana also holds a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification and a Pedagogical Training for Trainers credential, both from RUMOS, as well as a degree in Painting from the National Society of Fine Arts. She aspires to pursue a PhD in Economic and Organisational Sociology at ISEG, University of Lisbon, focusing her research on Science & Technology Studies.
