Maria Isabel Pedro is an Assistant Professor at the Engineering and Management Department at IST – University of Lisbon. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Management from ISCTE-IUL, her equivalence to Master’s degree and her PhD in Engineering and Management from IST. Isabel’s research focuses mainly Organizations allied to the Systems area, with particular emphasis on methods for analyzing the performance and efficiency of companies combining Decision Support Methods and Operations Research with the use of economic, financial, quality, or other indicators. She has several papers published in international journals.
