María Carmen Carnero obtained her Thesis Degree in Industrial Engineering in 2001 in the University of Castilla-La Mancha. She made a research state in 2004 for 6 months in the CEG-IST with the direction of Professor Bana e Costa about the MACBETH approach; since then, she is an associate member of the CEG-IST. Currently is full professor in the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering of Ciudad Real in the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain) where she is teaching students in Mechanical, Electrical and Industrial Electronic and Automatic Engineering Degrees and Industrial Engineering Master Degree. She has participated in 21 research project, in eight of them as principal researcher. She has published 65 research papers, 25 research chapters in books and has been editor of two books and guess editor of four special issues, additionally she has participated in 74 conferences and congress. Her research lines are related to maintenance and sustainability decision making.
