Celso Augusto de Matos is an Assistant Professor at the Engineering and Management Department at IST – University of Lisbon and a Researcher at the Centre for Management Studies (CEGIST) He received a Bachelor’s degree in Management in 2000 from UFMG (Brazil) and a Master’s degree with a minor in Marketing and Strategy from the same institution (2003). He concluded his PhD in Management, with a focus on Marketing in 2008 from UFRGS/Brazil, with the dissertation entitled “Word-of-mouth communications in marketing: a meta-analytic review of the antecedents and moderators”. Since then, he has supervised 9 PhD and 29 MSc students. Celso’s research focuses on Marketing, Marketing and Strategy interface, Entrepreneurship, Resilience of small business, Responsible Production and Consumption (SDG12), and Consumer Behavior. He has published in several international journals and coauthored books on the topic of sustainability. He is the founder of the E-Co-Letiva applied project, which works to disseminate sustainable production and consumption. He has coordinated several scientific projects on the topics of Marketing.
