António Sérgio Ribeiro is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, and researcher at Centre for Management Studies (CEGIST). He teaches Management, Microeconomics, Econometrics and Quantitative Research Methods.

From 2020 to 2022 António was the Head of Labour Market Statistics Unit at Statistics Portugal and now he is deputy coordinator of the Bachelor and Master degree in Industrial Engineering and Management.

António has a PhD in Engineering and Management from IST and his research focuses mainly in labour economics, entrepreneurship, innovation and sports economics. His work has been published, among other journal, in Journal of International Business Studies, Tourism Management Perspectives, Regional Studies and The Service Industries Journal.
