PhD in Engineering and Management from Técnico, Master in Operations Research from Técnico, Postgraduate in Management from the Portuguese Catholic University, and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Técnico. He is a Guest Professor of Engineering and Management at Técnico, where he teaches Decision Support Models and Risk Management. He was responsible for the Risk Management area at Galp Energia and served as an advisor to the Secretary of State for Fiscal Affairs in the XVIII Constitutional Government, with responsibility for tax modeling and budget government overseeing. His areas of expertise include risk management, financial engineering, operations research, and decision support models.
