Cátia Medeiros da Silva completed her PhD in Engineering and Management in 2022 with Distinction and Honour at the University of Lisbon, Instituto Superior Técnico. She completed her Masters in Civil Engineering in 2015 at the University of Lisbon, Instituto Superior Técnico. She is a Researcher at the University of Lisbon, CEGIST Center for Management Studies of the IST and Guest Assistant Professor at the Department of Engineering and Management, Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. Her main research interests are supply chain management, logistics, sustainable supply chains and decision support systems. She has participated in several international conferences related to supply chain and operations research fields. She is involved in a European project that aims to develop comprehensive and innovative models for the design and planning of sustainable supply chain under uncertainty. She has published 5 articles in specialized journals. It has 2 book chapters. She organized 2 events. She has received 5 awards and/or distinctions. She participated as a Research Fellow in 2 projects. In her professional activities she interacted with 25 collaborators in co-authoring scientific works.
