Ana Sara Costa Domingues is an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) at the University of Évora (UÉvora), and a researcher at CEFAGE (integrated member) and CEGIST (associate member). Before joining UÉvora, she was at the Instituto Superior Técnico of University of Lisbon (IST-ULisboa). Sara did an integrated master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (2012, NOVA FCT), she specialized in Project Management (2014, ISEG Executive Education) and concluded her PhD in Engineering and Management, with distinction and honour (2020, IST-ULisboa). She was a visiting researcher at the University of Southern Denmark and a research fellow at University of Seville. Sara has been an active member in Operational Research/Management Science and Multiple Criteria Decision Aiding (MCDA), contributing to the development of innovative research with new methods, software and applications in diverse areas (e.g., urban planning, military, and health). In 2022, she received the International MCDM Doctoral Dissertation Award from the International Society on Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). Her current research focuses on developing MCDA models mainly applied to healthcare systems.
