Beatriz Cassuriaga is an accomplished researcher at the Centre for Management Studies at Instituto Superior Técnico (CEG-IST). She holds a degree in Production Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RIO) in 2005, followed by an MBA Certificate from Faculdade de Economia e Finanças IBMEC in 2012. Beatriz pursued a Master's in Production Engineering at PUC-RIO, which she completed in 2020. Currently, she is dedicated to her PhD in Engineering and Management at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, focusing on exploring social sustainability under the guidance of the Sustains. As a PhD student fellow, Beatriz actively participated in projects centred around Social Life Cycle Assessment methodologies and Circular Economy, presenting her findings at international conferences. Through her research and contributions, she has played a key role in advancing knowledge in this crucial field.
